Seems like de BLP is going thru de same internal leadership battles dat de DLP went thru a few years back.

I doan tink they are many folks in Barbados who would like to see Mia Mottley become PM of dis country...not even among her own party members and supporters of the party.

From day one I knew that Mia was not the right type of personality to lead any political party...as educated and articulate as she may be. People are just being more outspoken about it now...but she seems not to realize the true problem.

I aint saying so at all but we know that leadership got alot to do wid how people in Bim duz vote and the Bees feast on te DEms fa wha like 15 years while them had all sorta leadership issues. the only thing i guess different here is Mia got a strong personality that seem to quell or at least give the appearance that she quelling any rebellions and uprisings but time will tell.

I understand wuh yuh saying cause swing voters like me ain gine vote fuh a party dat seem to be in turmoil...de DLP managed to get their act together in the nick of time. But I think that as long as Thompy and his team are seen by the general public as having more positives than negatives, he will get a second term regardless of who is leading the BLP.

Anybody that every take over a job from a fella that was in the position for a long time duz always gotta realize they gine be compared to that fella and people gine expect them to run things the same way. Like everything I guess people gotta accept or realize that Mia aint Owen so ya gotta get accustom to hos she duz do things. That said she gotta look at how she doing things too cause if people accustom to one thing you cant just upset the applecart just so.

My question is are there any viable options as leader of the Bees besides Mia? from what i was reading between the lines look like most of the other options kinda mysteriously went their way.

Well Dale Marshall is her deputy right now, so he should be capable of assuming de leadership if she steps aside. Yeah, the article from the advocate come across as if it's a gleeful DLP article. I guess that nobody was expecting Owen to publicly voice his opinion about Mia's leadership as he did, but I suppose that he felt compelled to speak his mind since he didn't show up for her "vote of allegiance" as he put it.
