I'm 50/50 when it comes to Bounty Killuh. I like some uh he stuff, but he also got many tunes I doan care for.

I remembuh he & Beenie Man did fueding fuh a while.

I especially like the Sister Nancy tune (What a bam bam)...I haven't heard that since my party days in Jersey.

Yeah, summuh dese tunes we posted go way back tuh de early 80s (maybe even late 70s?)

Speaking of Sister Nancy, I mistakenly thought she did "Kuff". Didn't realize it was actually Shelly Thunder who sang dat wun.

Of de ones you posted, I especially like Yellowman - Zunguzung, Shabba - Wicked in a Bed, and Yellowman - I'm Getting Married. Dem 3 have always been tops on my list, I does nevuh get tired uh hearing dem.

Actually I think that "What a bam bam" was originally done by Yellowman now that I think of it.

Yeah, the 80s was sweet for me...and these tunes were kicking back then. Man I use to party like it was going out of style every Thursday night, Friday night, and Saturday night, between Jersey and NY. And this song came out in the late 80s it use to really get me pumped up...

Ah ok, didn't realize that. But I know a lotta dem Reggae artists does do remakes, so not a huge surprise.

I loved de 80s too, plenty of classic Reggae & Calypso tunes from dat era.

Ah yes, I remember that tune. Good wun.

I have plenty of Dennis Brown including 3 compilation CDs & a bunch of MP3's, and those include the songs you posted.

But I doan have any Eddie Lovette yet. I gine have to download some Eddie Lovette MP3s soon. :grin:

Actually original original Bam Bam was the one and only Toots and the Maytals. Its been remade every decade since the 60s I believe.
