When this story first broke and Stanford had been located in Virginia, I wondered why he had not been arrested. Now I see why but now that he has been outed as a paid DEA informant, he has a huge target on his back.

There is a fascinating, in-depth story about Stanford in this months edition of Vanity Fair magazine entitled "The Pirate of The Caribbean". Can you believe this guy vanished after the fitness club he had in Texas went bankrupt and he suddenly resurfaced in Monserrat of all places where he opened his first bank. The story details his relationship with the Birds of Antigua and many other fascinating details. You can access Vanity Fair online.
