Some of the advertising on this site does kill muh dead. Whenever you open up this topic there is a big banner that says "WHY IS YOUR STOMACH SO FAT". :grin:

I was wondering doah how come d conkies doan have meal flour or meal?
n i doan c d recipe for d pudding ...... (pudding n souse)

I haven't had pudding & souse in a few years, and now yuh got me craving it. :lick2: :grin:

I had cou-cou more recently, but with another kind of fish (I think it was salmon)

I believe I had cou-cou wid red herring once or twice, da was quite a while ago. Usually I does eat it wid salmon or tuna. Also tried it wid one odduh, possibly King Fish(?)

GB, thanks for posting the story about Viola , nice nice nice man!
U know I love to c when some of us grow older than most. :smile: The bible says that by some mightiness ( strong genes) some will live longer than the 70 yrs Jah has allotted for us, due to out terribly sinful nature . Its nice to hear Viola is active though.

DT, there r only 3-4 things that coucou is delicious with. Saltfish, red herring, flyingfish and beef insides...harslick? n liver. Nothing wrong wid eating it with chicken or tuna or else when the stew is delicious but its just the bom with the former :smile:

Actually, I tink I did have coucou wid saltfish in de past (although my favorite saltfish dish is fishcakes)

Yeah, I like when de stew is nice & flavuhful :lick2:
