My first and last trip for Crop-Over was in 1980 when I took some DJ equipment to Barbados and played on a truck from The Stadium to the Garrison. Back then we didn't even have CD's or Laptops for me to load music, but I made a few tapes to play on the truck. Of course the only song I needed was "The Devil"

If I visit it was usually after Kadooment day. Having spent as much time as I have in crowds,I try to stay clear of crowds.
for the time being.

Man at almost 67, I had my full share of wukkup days at the Drill Hall, most of the Dance Halls back in the 60's, following the Blue Rhythm Combo, Tropical Islanders and the many other bands of the day, and also when I was a DJ in Bim from 60-67 before I left for Montreal.
I just stay on the side lines and watch as I know the "young uns" will be old like me one day. :ok:
